Just listened to the EP because I’m a big fan of a lot of Glocca Morras other stuff, especially Y’all Boots Hats (die angry), which is one of my favorite midwest emo songs of all time. I had heard a couple songs off this one and I knew it was gonna be much more hardcore punk sounding than midwest emo sounding, and this was definitely correct. I still enjoyed it quite a bit though, with its rougher, more intense sound. A lot of these are short and sweet, reminding me a lot of Joyce Manor’s self titled. There are a lot of bangers on here, but the best one has to be Professional Confessional. “Why do you skip through the parts you don’t like/that is the wrong way to live your life” is something that has stuck with me ever since I first heard this song. I also liked little man, railing, and support my head.
